I have been working on the van Rooyen family tree for some years. It began with just researching my own line, but soon grew to include all the descendents of the progenitor Cornelis. A project documenting the descendents of Anthonie is being done by another researcher, Martie du Toit.
While the van Rooyens have been documented in various collective works, no specific van Rooyen document has been published. My aim is to document the descendents as thoroughly and completely as possible. The van Rooyen database is included in the SA Family Tree website. Click here to access the database.
